So it's a few days after my speech. And I can now have a clear perspective on that speech. I feel pretty good about the way it turned out, definitely better than my last speech. I am afraid that i didnt have enough to back up my argument. I really wanted to take a different perspective on it, but the topic didnt lend it self as well as i would have liked. With that said i still feel really good about it. Again better than my last speech.

Looking forward to listening to the others without having to worry about mine!

The Calm Before the Speech

Before my first speech, i actually feel pretty relaxed. I'm not too worried or nervous or anything. Instead i feel pretty confident, i suppose that's because i feel that i am pretty prepared. So what is there to worry about?

I'm ready to talk about my homelessness with my own personal family story. I hope that it comes off as good as i want it too. Wish me luck, and i'll do the same for you.

What do I hope to achieve in OP100 by the end of the semester?

What I once thought was a fad, like pet rocks, and pogs has now become a means for education in OP100. Before live journals and blogs were meant to only express one's depression over a lost crush, but now I can use this tool to learn more about speech communication. I hope these blogs will now become a source of infinite knowledge in speech writing and expression.

My goals in this class include passing the course, and getting my work done to a level that I can have pride in.
